The cheapest way between Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) and the city is the public bus. It is slower than a taxi and less suited to lots of luggage, but hard to beat on price — a flat fare of only a few hundred dram.
Bus 201

Bus 201 is the main public route between the airport and central Yerevan, stopping near key points in the city centre. It runs regularly through the day; pay the flat fare on board (have small change in dram ready). Journey time is around 30–40 minutes depending on traffic. Marshrutka minibuses also serve the route. Services thin out late at night, when a taxi or ride-hailing app is the dependable choice.
Is the bus right for you?
- Best for: solo travellers and light packers watching the budget.
- Less ideal for: lots of luggage, families, or late-night arrivals.
- Tip: keep small dram notes and coins handy for the fare.
